I went to a rodeo!   I had never been before and wasn't really sure what to expect. Friends kept telling me I had to experience it while living in Texas so off to the rodeo we went. We had a great time with good friends.  We saw a lot of animals and went on a couple of rides and tried lots and lots of samples.  I want to go again and I just might!

Kate and Matt know how to throw great parties!  We had a lot of fun!  The boys watched the game and the girls played games and talked.  The food was excellent as always and plenty of it!

Kate and I met up at the movies and we were both wearing the same fabulous red vest!  The only difference was our choice in our turtlenecks.  And I almost did wear the black turtleneck.  I meet Kate just about every morning at the gym.  We walk and walk and talk and talk.  We even do yoga on some days.  I have been so blessed to have met such a kindred spirit.  She always up for some fun and dancing! (and a card game)  We will have to find a better place for dancing next time.

This is Coy one of our friends from Washington that has since moved to Kentucky but happens to be in Texas doing some training.

Shooting was fun!  Not at all what I was expecting. It was a bit noisy and boy did some of those guns have a kick.  I wasn't even shooting them and I could feel it.

IKEA!

Camyrn ended up picking the birthday cake one.  She plans on wearing it for her next birthday!
The trip to IKEA was exhausting!  Little Camyrn crashed out after the ladies took her on a 3 hour tour (it was really 5 but whose counting).  Add the traveling time an hour there and an hour back 7 hours if enough to make anyone crash.  We had a fun time and enjoyed the Swedish meatballs for lunch.  Brought fun things for the house and yummy chocolate.  Can't wait to go again.  I have already started my list of things that I need! (ok want)

Shopping with me is sometimes an adventure!

So I saw these vest!  I love to pick out something I'm not really sure someone would buy and just be silly and pretend that I totally would.  So we posed with them on.   As we were walking back through the store to leave a lady was purchasing the fake fur vest.  I'll give her credit at least it was 75% off.   I need to work on my poses!
